“Iranian architecture displays great variety, both structural and aesthetic, from a variety of traditions and experience. Without sudden innovations, and despite the repeated trauma of invasions and cultural shocks, it has achieved “an individuality distinct from that of other Muslim countries”. – Mohammad Reza.

The Photographer:
Mohammad reza’s words: “My name is MohammadReza domiri ganji, I live in babol a city in northern Iran and i study physics.
It is about 5 years that i take photos of old architectures and historical sites in Iran. that is contain mosques, traditional bathes, old houses, palaces, churches, symbols and ancient sites.
for me light is a very special element in photography, also i use panoramic technique or wide angle lens this way i can show all the details in one photo.
Any architecture has an special element inside, some have a symmetry, sole colorful tiling, some are decorated with stained stills, some columns and… first i try to find this special elements and hen capture my picture that way i emphasis and focus on that distinguished point and show it to the viewer.
I try to photograph all major and important old architectures of Iran and include them in my collection. The reason i selected architecture photography is that we have many amazing architecture here in iran but most of them are still unknown. I tried to sgow them to the world“
