“Transparent is the New Color” – Madea Milano is an Italian furniture company following the slogans “Transparent is the new color” and ”Color revolution” creates a furniture with the luxury approach on methacrylate and its mix with marble and fabric.
This led to the idea of #handmadeplastic: the manual contribution to the creation of each product and the use of traditional working techniques makes every piece unique and valuable. Furniture takes shape in a context full of ideas and passion for creating. The collections are entirely Made in Italy and include tables, lamps, vases, trays, mirrors, clocks, wine racks, dishes and glasses.
Side table of Vien collection is done with methacrylate legs, in clear or smoke-grey, with Bianco Carrara, Verde Alpi or Grigio Carnico marble top. Its ambition is to create new connections by combining different materials: the strong presence of marble is counterbalanced by the aesthetic transparency of acrylic. The marble, quarried in Italy, is chamfered and polished.
The UV-gluing technique and the diamond-tool finishing allow for invisible joints of the parts, creating continuity between methacrylate and marble. The effect of this combination – marble flying in the space.
