This amazing South Korean café, with their all-white walls, floors, furniture and black contour lines to create a 2-D drawing sensation, has been designed to give you the impression that you’ve stepped into a cartoon or a comic.
From the moment you enter the café, you’re greeted by comic strips plastered all over the interior. From walls to floors to ceilings and even the dishes! Everything about the establishment’s interior was meticulously calculated to makes the costumers feel as if they’ve stepped into a cartoon.
If you feel nostalgia or as if you’ve been in this café before, then you might not be too wrong. This unreal 2-D space was inspired by Korean TV hit “W – Two Worlds” by Lee Jong-suk and Han Hyo-joo, in which the characters enter a fantasy webtoon world. So, if you’re a K-Drama W-Two Worlds fangirl, than this should be your dream spot.
Next time you take a trip to South Korea and you’re a fan of unique, creative spaces, make sure to stop by this café. It opened in July 2017 and it’s located in 239-20 Yeonman-dong, a popular disctrict in Mapo-gu, Seoul, which is also where the establishment’s name comes from.
