“A-cero presents a new single-family house located in Catalonia – Spain. The owners wanted a solid, modern and bright design despite the house being relatively moderate size.
Architects Joaquín Torres and Rafael Llamazares were tasked with carrying out the project. This house designed by A-cero is characterized by curved, organic lines and by the great luminosity that is given off by the entire façade.
The interior of the house also stands out due to the movement given by the curved lines and by the light that is introduced by the shades of white used and by the great connection between the house and the exterior.
The plot is small in size a moderate slope, but the house has been positioned integrating it into the land taking advantage of the surroundings with a leisure area consisting of a swimming pool and a porch.
The house has an area of about 300 square meters built distributed evenly between the three floors. The basement consists of a garage for 2 or 3 cars and a facilities area and a small gym and spa area. The ground floor is intended for kitchen, living – dining room area and a guest water closet. All spaces are connected to the outside porch.
Finally on the first floor we find the master bedroom en-suite with bathroom and dressing room and two further bedrooms with a bathroom. We also have access to the solarium. So the result of this project is a home that highly satisfied the clients. A house with a modern and powerful image within a modest size and budget.”
This home presents a modern design that compensates it’s moderate size with a bright, luxury style. It holds a lighter color scheme and allows natural lighting indoors to make the home appear larger than it is. It’s a wonderful structural design that not only shows a unique twist to a family residence, but also eludes a sense of comfort and warmth that every home needs.
